Last Chance for First Takes of Senior Portraits

On Tuesday, December 14th and Friday, December 17th, seniors who missed the first round of portraits can have their photos taken in ROOM 3009 after the exams are over.

Click on the date and session you will be signing up for.  Place your name and ID in an available time slot. After filling in a time slot with your name and ID number, click on the link in Column F, fill out the form.  Both of these actions (filling in spread sheet with info and filling out the form) MUST take place to sign you up for an appointment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DAY:

Thank you for choosing the time for your portraits! Please fill in this form with your contact information and the time you signed up. ARRIVE 5 MINUTES EARLY to ROOM 3009 and be READY TO GO! If late, you may loose your spot. Come dressed in your formal wear, make up done, ready to go! Please use your non DISD email in order for you to get your responses to this form sent back to you.

First Photo will be you in your FORMAL wear. (Dress like you are going to a wedding or a important job interview. Photos will be from the knees up. NO T-SHIRTS will be allowed for formal shot. See examples in previous posts)

Second Photo: You will put on a graduation GOWN over your formal wear. We will provide a gown to wear for the photo. If you have your own, you can wear it!

Lastly, send a scanned photo of yourself, between ages 2 - 8, in an email with your first name, last name and ID to woodrowportraits@gmail.com. If you can't get it scanned, then bring a COPY (because it won't be returned) to this photo session in an envelope with your full name written on the back of the photo. We must receive your childhood photo by December 18th in order for it to be included in the yearbook.

Choose which day and what time your appointment will be to have your senior portrait and graduation gown portrait taken in the library!    Please sign up by 11:59 pm Wednesday, December 1st for Thursday's sessions and by 11:59 pm on Thursday, Dec 2nd for Friday's sessions.

Yearbook and ID Badge Photos

 

This week, Yearbook Portraits and ID Badge photos for all Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen will be taken in the Library from Thursday August 26, to Tuesday, August 31st.  All photos will be taken through English classes according to the schedule below.  

Dress:  School or Team Uniforms; Dress Up for Job Interview or School Spirit Wear.

Picking Up Purchased Yearbooks from Previous Years!

If you are student who ALREADY graduated, you can still pick the book up during the times listed below (just check a day in advance via text) or text Mr. Kelemen (214-587-7424) to arrange an alternate time. Please READ through all the instructions below!  If it's the summer, text Mr. Kelemen to see when he'll be back in town.

Pick UP Times

Please follow the instructions below, when picking up yearbooks.  No yearbooks will be given out during the school day, only before school (8:45 am - 9:00 am) or after 3rd period. Text Mr. Kelemen (214-587-7424), leaving your full name, if you have any other questions, or need to arrange another pick up time!  Please read #3, in the instructions, if you are needing to pick up a book for someone else.

Instructions for pick up!

1.  Please click on this link - 2022 Crusader or this link - 2023 Crusader to see if you purchased a book.  If you think you have purchased a book but don't see your name, bring a copy of the receipt from Friesens, our publisher.  One should have been emailed to you immediately after your purchase was completed.  If you haven't purchased a yearbook, go online and purchase one now while they are still available.  Past yearbooks are also available at a reduced cost, while they last.  Here is the link to the yearbook store - YEARBOOK STORE.

2.  Once you arrive, you must scan the QR code below (or you can find it in the column to the left), in order to pick it up.  (Or click on the link if your camera isn't working!)

3. Only the student who purchased the book, or a member of the family, can pick up the yearbook.  If you need to have a friend pick the book up for you, you the purchaser MUST email me (kelemen.woodrow@gmail.com), prior to picking up the book, granting permission for someone else to pick it up.

I, (insert your name), give permission for (insert their full name), to pick up the yearbook on my behalf!

Yearbook Pick Up Moving Forward

 Yearbooks not picked up on Friday, June 18th.

Any yearbook not picked up on Friday, June 18th, will be able to picked in early August.  

Since school ended on Friday, there will be no one to distribute yearbooks until the first week of August.  Please check back here for the times and location for yearbook pick ups.  Contact Mr. Kelemen at kelemen.woodrow@gmail.com if you have any more questions.

The 2021 Crusader has been sent to the publisher.  It is shipping date is June 11 which means we should have it ready for distribution the week of June 14-18.  Check back here for updates! For now, here is photo of the cover of the 2021 Crusader! 

(the cover is made up of thousands of photos of you...Woodrow students!)

There are approximately 200 books left for sale.  Get them now before they run out.  Click on the Yearbook Store to the left in order to purchase one.  To check and see if you already purchased this year's book, click here and search for your name.  Contact Mr. Kelemen if you believe there is an error!

We also have a few yearbooks available from previous years at greatly reduced prices!  Check this out!  All can be purchased from the yearbook store.  Previous books can be picked up right away.  Just contact Mr. Kelemen (kelemen.woodrow@gmail.com) to arrange a time to get it!

We are in the last days of yearbook production.  If you haven't filled out your form for Senior Quotes, Activities, Inspiration and Future Plans, PLEASE click on this link and fill it out.  

The last day for acceptance is Wednesday, April 21st by midnight!

Also, if you haven't sent in your toddler photo (a picture of you between the ages of 2 and 8 years old), please send it to woodrowportraits@gmail.com by Wednesday, April 21st by midnight.

The whole process shouldn't take more than 5 - 10 minutes including your 5 minute early arrival!  

Wear a casual shirt or dress nicely, or wear your team uniform. Your choice!

A quick reminder that securing a senior ad for your student ends on January 24th, 2021.  Once secured through purchasing an ad, all design and materials must be submitted by January 29th (if we are creating the ad for you) or February 1, 2021, if you are creating your own ad, without our help.

SENIOR ADS are on sale!  

Make sure you choose the correct option, based on size of ad, and whether you have already purchased a book this year.  Browse through the store to see your options.
