YEARBOOK Pick Up Fall 2023! (Updated)

If you never picked up your pre-ordered yearbook last spring, now is the time to get that done!

Yearbook distribution for current students and staff is in Room 3009 during period 2A only.

There is a digital check out process so please bring your cellphone to expedite pickup.

If you are a graduated SENIOR from last year (or any previous year) you need to arrange another time. Email Coach Ramirez at chriramirez@dallasisd.org to arrange a time and date.

If you can’t make it in person and you wish to have someone else pick up your yearbook for you, YOU must send an email to chriramirez@dallasisd.org with the person’s name and a sentence granting them permission to pick up yearbook, including your name, grade and ID.

LAST CHANCE for a SENIOR AD

 Attention all Senior Parents!

READ through completely before purchasing an AD!

We have so many requests for senior ads after the deadline that we have worked really hard to make space for extra ads!  

We have space for a number of different ads.  We have 10 full page ads, 10 half page ads and 10 quarter page ads available on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis, available for purchase until SUNDAY, April 9th.  

The completed ad must be sent to us by Monday, April 10th, in order for it to be included in the yearbook. If you purchase an ad, the completed ad must be sent to us in time or the will be NO ad and NO refund of money.  

Please follow the directions below about dimensions, resolution and other details about the ad.  ALL ads must be submitted as a JPG at 300 dpi with the proper dimensions for the size of ad purchased.  

Unfortunately we won't be able to offer a senior ad with a yearbook included.  A yearbook must be bought separately.

Instructions

Seniors Ads are sold on a first come/first serve basis.  

1.  Make sure you choose the correct option, based on size of ad.  If you already purchased a yearbook this year, choose the option that states AD ONLY.  We are only offering AD ONLY for sale right now.  Browse through the Woodrow Yearbook Store to see your options.  

2. Once a SENIOR AD is purchased, come back here to fill in this form that must go along with your senior ad!  SENIOR AD FORMS

3. All completed ads must be submitted by Monday April 10th, 2023.

4.  Here are the details on the choices for ADS available.  The format and dimensions for each ad are listed below. 

 

Full page measurements are  9" W x 12" H  at 300 dpi

Half page measurement: 9" W x 6" H  at 300 dpi  

Quarter page measurement: 4.5" W x 6"H  at 300 dpi.  

  

All completed ads must be submitted as a JPEG file (.jpg) with a resolution of 300 dpi.

If you want to purchase a print of the photo, make sure you choose from these sizes so everything fits (under OTHER SIZES when purchasing):

10" x 18" - $20

15" x 27" - $40

20" x 36" - $48

Also seniors, you can still purchase a yearbook!  Look over to the left column and choose Woodrow Yearbook Store in order to purchase one online.  

*If you never sent in your toddler photo (a photo of you between the ages of 2 and 8) back in December, Friday, March 31 is the final day to submit the photo to woodrowportraits@gmail.com. Make sure it's full resolution!  Any photo submitted after that day will NOT be included in the yearbook.

Special Retake or First Take Portraits for Underclassmen and Seniors - LAST CHANCE

This will be the last opportunity to have your portraits taken for all students at Woodrow for the 2023 school year.  Contact Mr. Kelemen at kelemen.woodrow@gmail.com or 214-587-7424 if you have any questions.

Underclassmen Only (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors) LAST CHANCE retakes or first takes on Saturday, February 18th, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Room 3009.  

You MUST sign up for an appointment time, plus fill out the form in order to have your photo taken.  

1.  Click on this link to sign up for a single time slot.  Do not try to over ride a time slot that has already been taken or you will be removed from the list and not allowed to take your photo.

2.  After signing up for time slot, click on the form in column F and fill it out completely.  Failing to do so will void your appointment time!

3. Arrive early on Saturday, dress appropriately (according to the guidelines on the form) and remember to smile!

SENIOR ADS are on sale until January 20th!   Sale of Senior ADS (with yearbook included!) has been extended until Saturday, February 4th or until they are all purchased!  Order yours today!  If you already purchased a yearbook for this year and would like to add a senior ad, contact Mr. Kelemen at kelemen.woodrow@gmail.com ASAP!

Senior Ads in the Yearbook are a great way to commemorate the achievements and celebrate the experiences of your son or daughter. With a variety of options, we hope that all parents will have an opportunity to wish their senior student well as he/she graduates.

Senior Portrait & Graduation Gown RETAKES and First Take Photo Shoot

Friday, January 13th  is the only day for RETAKES or FIRST TAKES (You weren't able to have your photo taken earlier in the year). 

Choose what time your appointment will be to have your senior portrait and graduation gown portrait taken in the auditorium!    Please sign up by 11:59 pm Thursday, January 12th.

Click on the date below to choose your time slot.  Place your name and ID in an available time slot. After filling in a time slot with your name and ID number, click on the link in Column F, fill out the form and follow the instructions for the day of the photo shoot.  Both of these actions (filling in spread sheet with info and filling out the form) MUST take place to sign you up for an appointment.

Attention!  Details about January 13th.

ARRIVE 5 MINUTES EARLY and BE READY TO GO! If late, you may lose your spot. Come dressed in your formal wear, make up done, ready to go!

First Photo will be you in your FORMAL wear. (Dress like you are going to a wedding or an important job interview. Photos will be from the knee up. NO T-SHIRTS will be allowed for formal shot. See examples below)

Second Photo: You will put on a graduation GOWN over your formal wear.

Lastly, send a high resolution, scanned photo of yourself, between ages 2 - 8, in an email to woodrowportraits@gmail.com. Include the students last name, first name and ID. If you can't get it scanned, then bring a COPY (because it won't be returned) to this photo session in an envelope with your full name written on the back of the photo with your ID. We must receive your childhood photo January 15th in order for it to be included in the yearbook.
