All photos will be taken through your ENGLISH classes. The photos will be taken this year by an outside company, LifeTouch. See the flyer below. All photos will be taken in the auditorium according schedule on the link here. Check back to this link for updates to the schedule. Attire: Students may wear your Woodrow team uniform, a Woodrow spirit shirt, or dress according to the school dress code.
The portraits for Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors are now up on our website. On behalf of our yearbook staff, we apologize for the LONG delay. Please understand that we are the only school in DISD to have the students create the portraits from the start. The process included taking portraits, renaming, editing, retouching and placing the student on a common background for consistency. The time it took to finally get them as best as possible took 3 times as long compared to years past. Coming back from COVID really hindered the work ethic and diligence of our staff. Again, we apologize.
To access the photo, please remember to use the password according to class of each student. The password will remain the same throughout their high school years.
i.e. Senior class password: classof2022 (see the panel to the left for more examples).
Each students photo is identified by the following code:
Lastname_Firstname-gradeletter.jpg
Example: Doe_Jane-11a.jpg
IF the student took two good but different photos, the only thing that would change is the letter.
Example: Doe_Jane-11a.jpg (photo number one of Jane Doe)
Doe_Jane-11b.jpg (photo number two of Jane Doe)
If your photo isn't present, there are two possibilities:
1. They didn't have their photo taken.
2. There photo was out of focus. If it was out of focus, the photo was coded with an "x", for example, Doe_John-11ax.jpg We never put it up on the site because we don't put up blurry photos. The good news is, because of the size of the photo in the yearbook, even if it was slightly out of focus, it was still usable and looked good in the book. If the photo accidentally was place in smugmug, please look at the name on the photo to make sure it doesn't have an "x" after the grade and letter. IF it does, don't purchase it! Come and see me and I'll retake it!

Please find your photo and check to make sure your name is correct. If you would like any changes to the photo (touch ups, or a retake), we will be available. If your photo has an “x” after the letter “f” for formal or g for gown (e.g. Formal photo: 12fx or gown photo: 12gx), it means that we recommend a retake due to an irregularity in the photo. If your photo is missing, we need to do a retake because of an irregularity.

If you see that your picture is not there or have any questions, please email our photography team at woodrowportraits@gmail.com or come by Room 3009 to talk to Mr. Kelemen. If you have several pictures up there (For example: Smith_Susie-12f-2 or Smith_Susie-12f-3) you can choose the one that will be in the yearbook. (Smith_Susie-12f-2). Please send an email with your choice of photo. If you don’t choose by March 27th, we’ll choose for you!

Seniors! Also don't forget to purchase your yearbook. Buy yours before they sell out! After the last book has been purchased, no books can be reprinted! The online store to purchase is on the left side column! Read the post below for more information!
This is the time of year that we have to, as a yearbook staff, give our final numbers to the publishing company for book production. This sets the number of books that will be ordered and published. We usually order 600 yearbooks, based on the fact that by this time of year we have sold over 300 and by the end of the year, we sell out. More books cannot be ordered.
This year, at this point, we have sold just over 100 yearbooks, including those who purchased a senior ad with the yearbook included. If we don't sell around 350 books by January 31, we will have to drop our order to 400 books.
The yearbook costs $62.50 to produce, if we order 600 books.
If we order only 400, the yearbook cost jumps to $87.
At 500 books, the price is $72.50.
I am hoping that people just haven't thought about it and we can have a big rush to order in the next few days and keep our order at 600 books.
